Artifact is a market entry agency in Almaty. We help foreign manufacturers find distributors in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and the wider CIS.

Where we come from
- 2011
We started with websites, advertising and video for companies in the region: a family clinic in Almaty, machinery dealers, an industrial plant in Belarus. We filmed at plants and mines, ERG and KazMinerals among them. Over those years we learned how a buyer here checks a supplier and what a distributor asks before signing.
That work sent us to trade shows every season, and we kept seeing the same scene. A foreign company with a good product. A local buyer interested in it. And nothing between them: no site in the buyer's language, no one on the stand who could say how supply, certification and payment would work. The buyer left with a brochure, and the deal ended there.

We turned the work around. Instead of presenting Kazakh plants to Kazakh buyers, we present foreign brands to the distributors of this region: in their language, on the platforms they use, with the answers they need before the first call.
How we see the job
We build what a distributor uses to check you, all year round: a site in Russian, answers to their questions, channels people here read, and people who pick up the conversation. If you are exhibiting in Almaty or Astana, we work your stand too.
All of it stays with the client.
We have five teams: strategy, production, channels and advertising, translation and inquiry handling, management. One project manager is your point of contact.

Ongoing
iker, a furniture and joinery manufacturer in Almaty. We run their social channels, website and advertising, month after month. Turnover in 2025 was 800 million tenge; in the first half of 2026 it reached 1 billion, almost double, through digital marketing. Their projects start at $60,000, and the audience we speak to for them is architects, interior designers and builders.
What we don't do
- We don't buy, hold or resell your product: that is what the distributors we find do.
- We don't work with gambling, weapons, drugs, fur or leather.
